How to make a once trendy jewelry brand relevant again? This project helps the client deal with the tension between adapting to the fast-changing aesthetic trend in the consumer jewelry market and maintaining the signature of the brand's design. This project applies a wide variety of methods to capture the aesthetic nuances and achieve the goal.
Engaging in a generative research project is thrilling due to its exploratory nature and the complex questions it poses. This particular project involves identifying intersections between two seemingly contradictory concepts: "sustainability" and "luxury." It aims to assist a luxury industry client in enhancing the design and marketing of their sustainable product lines and enable them to spearhead the niche of sustainable luxury consumption.
This project aims to improve the design of a toy product to increase user engagement and make children's play experiences more meaningful. Ethnographic work in a family setting with parents and kids allows for intimate observation of how the toy came into play in various parent-children interactional contexts. I conducted six home observations with each lasting for six to seven hours.
